What part of "Nutrition Facts" label is more important to lose weight?
I usually look at the number of calories. anyone else have a good reason to look at their specific share of the label? for weight control and loss What is a good indicator of "too much" fat or sugar? When I think of sugar, I think 10 or 15 is big and fat I'm not so sure. I look grams or%?
more important for health general are trans fats (which must be close to zero) if you try to lose weight (fat, for example) you should watch for sugar and fat. So you want limit their total carbohydrate (or better yet, eat only carbohydrates for fruit and whole grains). You should read the ingredients and refrain from buying certain items for which HFCS (corn syrup high-fructose) is one of the first ingredients. A note: The% are based on a USRDA (U.S. RDA) for a diet of 2000 calories. I would take the% carbohydrates and fats and try to stay below 50% for the day. Take% protein and at least twice.
